Sea Salt and Saffron Threads weaves through the life stages of a woman growing up with an alcoholic parent. From a child witnessing the turmoil of her fathers addiction without being able to comprehend it's impact; as young woman navigating complex emotions around attachment and worthiness, to adulthood with her own family and deep understanding of what happened to her during each stage of life. Through poetic description the author describes significant events, feelings, trauma and personal growth from her own life experiences.
