San Antonio private eye Nick Fischer deals his own brand of justice in the new action-packed thriller.



When a local rancher's estranged granddaughter goes missing, he turns to his old family friend Nick Fischer for help. Still recovering from the bullet wound he received on his last case, Nick promises to bring her home. He trails granddaughter Maya from Fredericksburg to the back alleys of San Antonio. All the clues lead to the Dragon, a charismatic and ruthless sex trafficker who preys on runaways. His victims are never seen again, and Maya may have fallen for his charms.



The gangster has managed to keep his criminal enterprise off law enforcement radar, but now Nick Fischer has his number. He exposes the Dragon's organized crime ring to SAPD, but they need time to build a case. Time Maya doesn't have. Nick will have to take on the Dragon alone. He made a promise to bring Maya home or die trying. The only question is, which will it be?
