Shades of Hypocrisy

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship [Him] in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23-24).

I believe there are so many worshipers who are in the category of true worshipers. I also believe that there are many who are outside this group. Some of those who are outside the group of true worshipers sincerely long to change for the better - but the rest, for some reason, seek to remain the same.

In John 4:23-24, Jesus talked about true worshipers. What status do they have - the true worshipers?

Jesus said, "...[true worshipers] are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks." Now that's remarkable, because it means that there are certain worshipers that the Father is not seeking at all - the worshipers that the Father does not seek - the insincere worshipers. With regards to these, the Lord expects nothing but total transformation.

We need to be in the right group. We need to always live right with God. Are you the kind of worshiper that the Father seeks? "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves" (2 Corinthians 13:5, NIV). Every worshiper needs to do this always; this is where this book comes in handy.

SHADES OF HYPOCRISY discusses two kinds of hypocrites - both found in the Church. The first group comprises of non-Christians who attend church and pretend to be Christians. The second group comprises of Christians who are hypocritical with regards to some areas of their lives.

SHADES OF HYPOCRISY is an important resource for purposes of identifying hypocrisy. One can only deal with something that they can pin down. I believe that there are so many worshipers out there who may be hypocritical without knowing. I also believe that many of such worshipers would deal with their hypocrisy the moment they identify it.

SHADES OF HYPOCRISY is not a book of condemnation. Instead, it is a self-help book towards becoming totally true to the Lord in the various spheres of life.
