Shadows in the desert

It had been five years since the bloody civil war forced Peter McKinley out of Mozambique to the United States, but his longing to return home to Africa never diminished. When an opportunity arose to take over a hunting concession in the Kalahari Desert, Peter jumped at the chance. Taking his beautiful wife and three-year-old daughter with him, the young adventurer risked it all and moved to the lonely Botswana wilderness. There Peter planned to pick up his old life again, but not everything would go as planned for the young family. An enemy from his past waited for them in the desert, an enemy that Peter thought was long dead. Like a deadly viper stalking its prey, it moved in unaware, edging closer and closer until it was in range for the kill.
