Shadows in the Mist

My Name is Stephan V. Mastison and I live with my wife and daughter in Pensacola Florida. 

My education: I have Bachelor's Degree in Science from the University of the State of New York. The degree was a split major with Ancient History and Sociology. I also have credentials in Meteorology from the DOD and from NOAA. 

My work career was with the Air Force, Department of Defense, and National Weather Service. Starting with the Air Force I worked logistics first, then after a break in service returned and began my weather training. I retired from the Air Force as a Weather Supervisor/Manager. After my Air Force retirement, I was hired by the National Weather Service. I worked for them for two years doing the NOAA Radio, radar, and forecasts. I then left them for a Department of Defense weather forecaster position. I retired a second time in 2015 from the Department of Defense as a Meteorological Supervisor/Trainer.

Before I retired from the Department of Defense my wife and I became interested in ghost hunting. We studied and became paranormal investigators, something I thought would be good for my retirement. We also studied and became Masters in Reiki energy healing. We moved to Florida and I found my real passion was writing. I also bought a nice camera to use for pictures to enhance my work. I modify the pictures to meet the theme. The floodgates are open now and I will continue to write and hope there are people who enjoy them.
