Shadows of Ascension

Kiara suffers from haphephobia, the fear of touch. It's been five years since her abduction, five long years of therapy. Now she's ready to move on with her life, to be touched by the one man she trusts-her best friend, Tyler. At least, that's what she thought until she started seeing the creatures again. Now she has a secret to keep, one she thought she'd left in the past.

Tyler is no saint. Hell, before Kiara, his life was a sham; a broken actor, sex addict, heroin addict. He's lucky to be alive. She is the one good thing he has going for him. He would never touch her, never break that trust. Not even if she wanted him to.

The visions are getting worse, destroying what little hope Kiara had for a normal life.
