"I don't want to hear it!" Roy said. "You've hated Lola since the day she started going with Terry. Don't you remember how you used to mock her with your hmmmm?"

"Why would I hate Lola because of Terry? I don't care anything about him. I have somebody, a doctor."
"You want both of them," retorted Roy.
"Why don't you do an investigation? Somebody is trying to destroy my career."
"We know where it came from. You wrote it," Roy said.
Realizing she wasn't going to be able to reason with him, she let go of her composure. "No! You and Denise wrote it! You framed me!" Benita looked from one to the other, wanting to say, you low-down bastards. "And Roy, it's retaliation, 'cause I wouldn't open my legs for you!"
"If it's retaliation, you can't prove it! Nobody witnessed a thing."
"Okay, Denise, sit there like you have amnesia. You know what this man is like. You know I told you he tried to rape me."
"I don't know anything, sorry." Denise shook her head.
"Don't you remember telling me to trust only the law?"
"I don't remember a thing."
Benita wanted to slap her. "So, that's why Denise's things are in my office. Oh, she'll be getting the human resource manager job. She gave up her stuff for the job. Congratulations, Miss Office Prostitute!" Benita yelled.
