Micah never wanted much more than to care for his family and work on his engineering projects. But when he found a mysterious shard on the slope of Mt. Illimanini in the Bolivian highlands,he was carried on one unexpected adventure after another. From the Imperial Palace in Vienna and along the Mars Route, Micah gets caught up in corrupt political scandals, cartel treachery, mining company greed, and a Native American shaman's hallucinogenic fantasies as he evades danger and fights space battles.
