The completion of Bimbo's novella marks the starting point of Lola's trauma, as she is forced by her parents to marry the depraved Judge, Justice Cliff, to guarantee her family's illicit escape from deportation. Embittered, Lola gets back at the judicial discourse by faking the innocence of felons. Along the line, she meets a partner in crime, Neil Samuel (Esq.), who is only motivated by his goal to win her affections. As Lola hides her affair with Neil, Madeline Margarita Hay arrives in the US, and that can only mean one thing: hope. But whose side would Madeline take? Whose turn would it be to be set free?
