This journal is the author’s personal search for truth. She documents the process of healing through intimate, arduous, and painful recordings of her need to make sense of her feelings and relationships. It is the account of her childhood sexual abuse and other horrific abuses. Through these experiences, the author also discovers her calling and how to help other survivors.
Some will identify with the sufferings experienced by the author. Others will indirectly connect with this topic because someone you love is an incest survivor. If you are triggered by reading this journal, the author recommends that you seek professional counseling.
You will learn how the author rapidly moved through healing by accurately documenting the process of:
• Sorting through confusing thoughts/emotions
• Recording physiological sensations/ body memories
• Analyzing themes of dreams/nightmares
• Utilizing the Power of Prayer, Scripture, and Faith
• Grasping the significance of historical accuracy during dysfunctional interactions
