Sheryl's Last Stand

Sheryl has seen better days; one time she had a career, a partner, a nice flat and a social life. At the wrong side of thirty-five she losses it all and has to start again, not alone but under the watchful eye of her wheelchair bound mother, her sister and various friends who have known her since she was in nappies.

How does she cope?

With a newly discovered passion for large wrestlers and a belly dancing teacher called Nefertiti, Sheryl sets out to chase her fantasies, and finds it in the least likely place.

Sheryl’s last Stand is the first in a series of stories set in Scotland about a group of women who, at one time or another, learnt to belly dance from the great Nefertiti herself.
