Shopping Cart Soldiers

A young Scotsman emigrates to the U.S., is drafted shortly after his arrival, and is sent into combat in Vietnam. On his return, shattered by the inhumanity of the war, he suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and ends up alcoholic and homeless on the streets of San Francisco. There, after a spiritual journey of healing, he reintegrates his personality and comes to terms with himself and his history.
