Silk

Silk is the debut poetry book of A.R. AlHudaib. Run through with poems dealing with melancholic feelings of loneliness and growing pains. Moments of the past cemented between a few lines in every poem, Silk is a simple time capsule for teenagers settling into adulthood with the same fragility of a newborn. Conceptual and thematic, the book is written in chronological order and fit with fears and desires of the speaker in each corner of it.
