Simulation Theory

Simulation Theory is a philosophical concept that has captivated the minds of thinkers, including scientists, philosophers and tech-enthusiasts alike. It poses profound questions about the nature of our existence, challenging the very fabric of what we perceive as reality. Despite its title and intriguing premises, Simulation Theory is not yet considered a full scientific theory due to significant concerns over its testability. It challenges the idea of God in the normal religious sense and instead suggests that an advanced civilisation is using us as a plaything or a pastime or to model various outcomes in an experiment. It also makes us re-examine our ideas of reality and helps us to uncover new science.Thinking about Simulation Theory can be fun or deeply concerning. We reemphasise throughout the book that the so-called Theory has not been verified to scientific standards, but it is still considered by scientists and philosophers to be worth exploring in detail. It is a testbed for what we think of as reality.
