With Vegas behind him, Wil Underwood is abandoning his old life and embarking on a quest for vengeance, but the battle for the city was only the Guardians' first assault.

Despite his intention to bring the bots to ruin, there are others who seek to undermine Wil at every turn, and each decision he makes could push the battle for humanity either toward salvation, or destruction.

Now the Guardians are threatening humanity's most advanced holdout, San Francisco, and it's up to Wil to convince a divided city to work together.

With the fate of the world at stake, Wil needs to set aside his thirst for revenge before his closest allies end up as collateral damage. But will he do so before it's too late?
