Sissoo cares about people, but he doesn't give a damn about society and its posturing. The people of Didoli think him a spoilt, conceited wastrel, but his challenging nature is more than just disruptive.

Orphaned since the age of ten, Sissoo will do anything to avoid making emotional connections that could hurt him. Now, a series of encounters challenge this policy, and when the Didoli's very existence is threatened, Sissoo's response is as surprising as it is original.
