This hilariously eccentric and daringly unpredictable novel follows Bruiser, the irreverent game show host of the internet sensation "Greed," where he dares contestants to relinquish their moral fortitude or get slapped. One day while filming, Bruiser receives a handful of change from a transient soul named Bootleg. He wakes up three days later feeling like there is something different about him, though it's not until shooting his next episode that he realizes what it is. He now has the power to heal people by slapping them.

At first, he questions his power, wondering if he's losing his mind. He quickly discovers he's not, realizing he actually does have the power to heal the world with a slap. How will this spiritually atrophied empath use his new found gift? For good or evil? Armed with his newly acquired healing powers and a solid distain for humanity, Bruiser and his crew set out to film an evangelistic style cross-country tour healing the country's masses. He can feel his soul calling him to do good, but he questions if he can drop his addictions and allow himself to be embraced by the universe.
