"Smarten the F*ck Up!" is the result of 4 years of documenting the most common mistakes people make when speaking and writing - and it goes well beyond grammar. Many of the smartest and most educated people I know make these mistakes. You probably do, too. Most are mistakes we've unknowingly made our entire lives, and this book will help you find yours. It's more of a self-help book, although much of what it conveys is grammar-related... just without the grammar-nerd language! 

It was written to be both informative and entertaining, with a sometimes-offbeat sense of humor, a bit of sarcasm, a touch of crudeness, a dose of politics, a little cursing here and there, an occasional expression of humanity, as well as a tongue-in-cheek irreverence toward grammar nerds. You'll also see an occasional rant... just for the sake of entertainment, of course.
