Social Geography

The past two decades have seen social geography in the throes of a major theoretical and methodological flux. Its traditional descriptive identity has been challenged by the flurry of work on Marxism, feminism, poststructuralism, postmodernism, and social and cultural theory more generally. The purpose of this Reader is to capture some of these major intellectual shifts of the last twenty years and to examine the nature of contemporary social geography.
