Somewhere between Dreams and Memories

As the child of an Air Force career man, poet Miriam Susan Carstons never lived anywhere longer than 2 years, except Japan, where she spent her early adolescence. Profoundly inspired by Japanese art and culture; it was there that she began to discover the magic power of the written word.

In her collection, Somewhere between Dreams & Memories, Miriam takes bits and pieces of all the places she has ever been (both physically and metaphysically) to create beautiful, mystical images of the present and the past.

Miriam's poetry is filled with imagination and insight, intended to open your mind and heart. Her visions spring from that universal place deep inside us all where dreams and memories come from.
