Cole Thorton never dreamed he would see his Arianna again. He had devoted himself to learning the ways of sorcery to distract from the pain of losing her and used it to expel the evil he found lurking in the darkness. Little did he know but upon entering Pete's Café, he was about to get more than he ordered.

As he finds himself falling for a stranger who seems all too familiar, Cole also finds his next mission: to protect her and her family from the notorious Vincent Vincetti - a Mafia boss with sights on expanding his territory, no matter what the cost.

With guidance from his master, Cole must employ all his knowledge and skill to try and defeat the gang. With Vincetti having strength in numbers, Cole finds a surprising new apprentice to help him in the fight.
