Crumble crashed into the explosion of the shatter's pieces; the mirror shattered its reflected glass. The breath of screams filled the air with its glorious sound, and I let that ghost in for the final time as I did before. But this time, it wasn't alone. It was free. I found myself living onward. The rain continued to fall, and the ghost stayed with me, a companion in my journey. I reveled in its presence, knowing I had taken the right path.
