Ms. Joy's girls find themselves in new territory. After a brief incarceration, Cissy develops a "new attitude" and shocks her family and friends by moving a strange woman into her home where she lives with her husband, Maurice.The woman soon takes advantage of the living arrangements after Cissy allows her full access to her home; the woman appreciates full access to Maurice.It is left up to Ms. Joy's other girls to bring Cissy back to reality and get rid of the woman who they feel is a threat to their friend's marriage; however, no one knows what goes on behind closed curtains, especially on the "Southside of Eden."
