Even before conception, the population of Potentia is meticulously genetically engineered, making disease and premature death barbaric memories of the past. This has allowed most of society to enter into a contrived utopia founded on the prioritization of certain traits...and disdain for anything different. Elliot has lived his whole life as an outcast struggling to fit in. He is an outlier-the Unplanned that should have never been born.
