speech 24: Temporary

The focus of this issue of speech: is a range of pavilions, installations, and design projects for exhibitions and theatre productions - all works that, by definition, are created by architects to last not centuries but relatively short periods of time. It is often precisely this temporariness that gives architects the chance to fully manifest their imagination and talent and take the risk of using non-traditional materials and innovative structural solutions that then, after a successful trial in this small format, are adopted widely for architectural use.
