Es posible encontrar en el Occidente moderno autores que, sin adscripción religiosa, muestren un sendero hacia la Verdad, genuinamente liberador? Siguiendo al gran filósofo Baruch Spinoza, Nacho Bañeras sostiene que la única libertad que tenemos disponible es tomar distancia de aquello que creemos ser, una entelequia a lo que nos aferramos por ignorancia, miedo y hábito. Desvelado este constructo, podemos acceder a la experiencia de Unidad que nos caracteriza, cuya vibración es la Alegría (estar en el entusiasmo, en-theos). Para ello, Spinoza ofrece la vía corporal, el autoconocimiento, la lógica, la vida virtuosa y la contemplativa, todas ellas conectadas entre sí, como la propia Vida de la que son manifestación.
