Spirit-Led Approach To Parenting

My suggestions are practical, yet spiritually conscious, and for those of you who are seeking practical ideas on how to empower yourselves in how to relate to little people hopefully, this book helps. You'll find that I used the Scriptures, NOT because it's "Divine," but because it's a statement of Truth or held Principles that can be used as a guide to KNOWING and PRODUCING "Right Actions" in a situation. Hopefully, these suggestions may work for you. Today, more African American children are growing up in single-parent homes or in foster homes. Perhaps, this book may or may not offer to assist in practical ways of overcoming common issues small children, or adolescents may experience at home, school, or the community. Our mission as parents should be to help guide these unique lives to blossom into kind, smart and considerate human beings who are full of integrity and good character. With over thirty years of parenting, I have learned how spirituality and parenting go hand and hand. No matter how great your love is for your child, they will always find a way to show you, how imperfect you are. Likewise, you will begin to see how flawed your little angels are no matter how deep your love and compassion go and love grows, your patience will be tested. The hope is that tolerance lies in the heart of every family the children will encounter and, that each child will come to know their true history, culture, and their Spirituality for them to grow and live full prosperous lives.
