The death of Sharron Rose wasnt the only major event to occur in Castlehead back in 2009 Not long after WWII, the St. Judes Medical Institute was built with the goal to help all people. It closed at the turn of the millennium. Now, its time for a change. And not just for the town either Mrs. Elena Sullivan cant complain about the life shes had; she studied at Oxbridge with her then soon-to-be husband Emmett, she was raised by a wealthy and loving family, and she works at the prestigious Desmond School for Creative Arts in Valeland. But after a horrific accident that leaves Elena a widow, she begins to think about her future and what to do with her life now that she has nothing Quickly realising that she wont be happy in her hometown, Elena moves to Castlehead to begin a new chapter. Soon after arriving, she stumbles across St. Judes - an old medical institute thats being refurbished into a luxury hotel. She becomes immersed in the institutes history - as well as the towns - and she begins to find out that dark secrets lie beneath Castleheads surface Secrets that some residents in particular dont want to be dug up.
