Following a traumatic car accident, a young Lynn Falkner joins the renowned Alta Ski Patrol, throwing bombs to control the infamous Rocky Mountain avalanches. But when a gas leak explosion levels a three-story building and he must rescue a young girl pinned under the concrete, he feels compelled to change the course of his life. Now a member of a premier pediatric neurosurgery team, he discovers the thrill isn't in risking life but fighting every day to preserve it.
