The year is 2263 and on Miranda - humanity's second home planet, an unknown alien race have declared war on us. They seem intent on nothing less than our genocide. Joseph Biggs is one of only a handful of journalists sent by the Core to cover this war and help paint a picture for the citizens of Earth - of success and our eventual victory. Joe finds out that things are never quite as they seem - The reasons for this war, the motivation of our attackers, even his role in it all, become blurred and twisted as he starts to learn truths, which others have tried to hide. Joe's destiny seems in conflict with his desires. He is forced to make decisions that will not only change his life but have the potential to affect all of existence as we know it.
