Leyenda Island, a tropical paradise off the coast of Mexico, offers tourists a haven of sailing, sunbathing, and snorkeling. Yet beneath the surface of this idyllic retreat, a savage predator lurks. When a potent new drug is dumped into one of its inlets, a rogue tiger shark develops a ravenous craving for the toxic substance. Its hunger becomes insatiable, and when it can't get its fix, it sets its black eyes on the island's inhabitants, unleashing a reign of terror that threatens to shatter the tranquility of Leyenda Island forever.
