Structure and Financing of Higher Education in Russia, Ukraine and the EU

Reviewing the goals and contraints facing higher educational institutions, the contributors to this text summarize the broad range of EU experience with higher educational reforms since the 1980s. Country experience in the UK, Germany, Russia and Ukraine are analyzed in order to show how the general issues manifest themselves. The book explores systems of higher education in both the East and the West, offering comparisons and ideas for those involved in these fields.
