When Sam's mom dies right before his 16th birthday, he knows he wants to live up to her love and belief in him. He joins forces with his dad, a retired police detective, and together Sam and Rob work through their grief and create a chosen family at The Homestead, Rob and Sam's headquarters. Between creating fantastic SUPER inventions that fight crime worldwide, and attending MIT, Sam finds time to serve as a special consultant on mysteries all across the United States.
