At the same time Henry, Jack’s best friend and right-hand man, is assaulted and nearly killed in an attempted revenge attack. To make the situation worse, his Chicago bar is targeted with an audit by former First Lady Allison Fulbright, his long-time nemesis, in an intricate plot to have him killed by his own clients. With everything except the sky crashing down on him, Jack calls on his daughter Kate, a New York City homicide detective, to come to their aid. Together with their good friend, Secret Service Agent Roger Minsk, they struggle through the greatest challenge of their lives.
