Susquehanna Odyssey

We follow the writer who, as a boy, lives in a tar paper shack. We look in on him when, as a sixteen- year old, he begins his military service. We accompany him as he becomes a Marine and meets a President of the United States. We see him begin and finish university studies, and we realize that he never forgets his attachment to a river which runs through his hometown.
