Independently from the events of historical and social nature a charming romance evolves painted on the canvas of budding relationship between a foreigner and a beautiful Moscow girl, Svetlana. At the end the man enchanted by his own Slavic roots and the suffering country which surrounds him falls in love with the woman who embodies it all. The story resembles a classic fairy tale about the Demon who lost his mind and fell in love with beautiful Tamara.
