Before his avatar as Krishna, Sri Mahavishnu has told Vasudeva in his dream that he will be born as Krishna and he should be left at Gokulam with Yasoda and Nanda. Before the birth of Christ, god's messengers are believed to have told Mariamma in a dream that a great man is being born to her.
