Of greatest genealogical import, nearly 100 pages of Appendices are devoted to brief biographies, including considerable genealogical data, of prominent early settlers who were instrumental in the settlement of New Sweden; lists of officers, soldiers, servants and settlers, 1638-1656, with information as to occupation, origin, date of arrival, and so forth; various documents and translations of documents; and a listing of the expeditions, 1637-1656.
