Forest Blue wants nothing more than to become a Forest Protector. Though born one, crimes committed by his mother cause the Forest Elites to question his loyalty to The Forest and creatures in it. When Forest stumbles across a Protector fox, Grey, she leads him to a possible solution. He can save an abandoned baby animal and raise it as his own or leave it to die. When he stumbles across a kitten yelling in The Forest, he jumps at the chance to save it.Things don't appear as they seem. With a forest full of secrets, who can he trust? With an already cruel mother, two siblings to care for, and another young one to feed, how much more can he take?
