This book identifies how Tamil Christianity has grown and rooted in Tamilnadu with the help of Tamil literary tradition, folk literature and performance arts, folk habits and the documents of this land. It introduces the struggles and problems faced by Christianity as it started to spread in Tamilnadu and how it overcame them. It also describes the tragedy of Christianity accepting factors like caste and untouchability into it.
