The study identifies the contribution of group work as method of teaching to the performance of learners. It was conducted on a sample size of 55 teachers and 6 head teachers. Data collection was done through a questionnaire sent to teachers, interview done with head teachers and observation made in group work sessions, while qualitative and quantitative interpretation techniques was made. Results point out of the use and application of group work as technic of teaching, the study indicated that whatever their experience, teachers give to their students the opportunity to work in groups. The teachers and principals appreciate positively this technic because of its effectiveness impractical courses said that it improves the quality of education. However, they find that this methods of great value for youth education is growing sense that the cooperative spirit, the social meaning and personality. The students are very interested and happy to be free and to participate in their education. The three years that we have discovered the students have performed well in external and internal evaluation. So, the group work as technic of teaching contributes a lot on the students' performance
