Childhood friends and newfound loves, Conner and Akiko, find themselves wrenched apart by the cruel hands of fate. After a brutal attack and a failed rescue, they each go their separate ways to pursue their own dreams. Despite the pain, the loneliness and the heartbreak, they both refuse to give up on their love.
