At a very young age, Teddy Palacios Flores was homeless, hungry and alone, and as he approached adulthood, he often felt he was without a country since he was discriminated against for being poor and black. Nonetheless, he persevered due to his love of country, love of sport and love of the few family members who taught him morality and spirituality propelling him to heights he never imagined.
