This series of books is designed for children who have learned the vowel digraphs or vowel teams (e.g. ai, oa, ie) and would benefit from practicing or revising them. These books also incorporate many High Frequency Words (HFWs) and sight words. HFWs account for more than half of the words in children's books. The ability to instantly recognize these words will enable children to read with greater fluency and confidence.

Farm Phonics also utilizes thinking strategies such as Making Predictions, Visualization, Predictions and Questioning to improve comprehension.

The learning can also be extended to include oral language and writing by having the child discuss possible endings for the story and create their own endings either orally, pictorially or in writing.

These books are designed with a dyslexia friendly font and format by a Special Education Teacher with Post Graduate Level knowledge and hands on experience of improving reading outcomes for children.
