Cat Avery was a tomboy at heart and a force to be reckoned with. From speaking her mind to standing up to the boys competitively, people knew not to take her lightly. Turning 16, and her twin brother having left for the military she was having a hard time adjusting to things. As the wild west was just taking root, there was trouble stirring in the Flint Hills of Kansas. With no clear answers, and her family by her side, they face the onward trouble that seems heading... directly towards them, 10 Ranch, the only place Cat Avery knows as home.
