In the rippling wake of a global pandemic, the once small town of Moab, Utah is buckling at its seams. A traveler in this land, he uncovers new insights and revelations after surviving the Pack Creek Fire while backpacking. Exploring this landscape entails more than red soil and green rivers, it involves taking a fresh look at human impacts in the face of our climate emergency. Being a vegan, Cedar decides that to achieve an objective viewpoint on this landscape he must hunt the territory's most elusive and cunning creature: the coyote.
