The 2nd Time Around is about going through devastation and overcoming some of life's most tragic experiences. The analogy was used in effort to encourage others that life can at times seem unfair, and no matter how bad the hand is dealt, we have the strength to endure and persevere. This book was written with faith-based principles while going through true life events. It is her passion to remind the people that God still heals, and you will read how she used a true story to prove it! In The 2nd Time Around, Shalana uses three strategies in the book to help her illustrate how she was able to push through her pain and catapult into her purpose! The strategies consist of: Faith in Knowing, Faith in Believing, and Faith in Prospering. They all helped her in continuing to trust God although the attacks were designed to kill her!
