In the middle of the night a famous astronomer disappears on the island of Moloka'i. The only clues are three icons on his computer.

Frederick, Maryland ... Harpers Ferry, West Virginia ... and back a quarter century to an event that caused the disappearance.

Finally, back on Moloka'i, the tangled clues reveal an amazing story that began on the edge of a cliff overlooking a raging ocean, and decades later ended there.
