The Adventures of Callie: Callie Finds a Home: (Las Aventuras de Callie: Callie Encuentra Un Hogar)

This book is about a rescued calico kitten abandoned and left to her own instinct to survive. Fortunately, Callie ended up near a veterinary clinic, where she was found by one of the veterinary technicians. Callie was afraid and lost, wondering what would happen to her. The veterinary technician gave her food and water but Callie was not sure if she could trust him or not. Before she realized it, he scooped her up and took her home to meet his family.

Callie met the young man's mother, little brother, and Mitzi, the family's dog. She was afraid of Mitzi but felt welcome when Mitzi licked her in a welcoming way. Callie explored her new surroundings. Even though she missed her own family, she felt safe and cared for. Her new life, full of adventures, now begins with her new family.
