The Adventures of King

King is an African-American boy with naturally locked hair who sees Engineering and Technology as Art.  Through poetic lingo, he pulls young readers on a journey through his unique ways of exploring modern technology.  His adventures are fun, simple, and provide a complimentary vocabulary challenge for beginner level readers.  "My Red Guitar" is King's first adventure in the world of music technology.  His fascination uncovers how this electrical instrument works and unlocks a leadership skill he had no clue he possessed.
